The Loon Apartment at Whale Watcher House is a charming oceanfront rental in St. Michaels (near Bauline South), Newfoundland, situated right on the edge of the ocean with stunning views of the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve. This self-contained apartment features two rooms: a bedroom with a private washroom, and a combined kitchen and living area with a comfortable double sofa bed, perfect for families or small groups.

Guests staying in the Loon enjoy easy access to whale watching in Bauline South with Great Island Boat Tours – just minutes from the apartment, or take a short 15 minute drive to Bay Bulls and join O’Brien’s or Gatheralls . . .  each option will allow you to enjoy whales (in season), puffins and other seabirds nesting in the nearby islands. The property is located directly on the East Coast Trail, making it an ideal base for coastal hikes and exploring the natural beauty of Newfoundland’s coastline.
